Which household appliances run on electricity? Where are the big energy consumers? What happens when all appliances are on at the same time? At the Energy Theatre for kindergarten children, the topic of energy is explained in a playful and exciting way. The Energy Theatre will perform at interested kindergartens in innogy’s grid region.
Gundi and Gustel are in love and are moving in together for the first time. They’re having a great time getting their new flat ready – TV and radio in the living room, fridge, coffee machine and toaster in the kitchen and a computer on the desk. Soon Gundi and Gustel decide to get married. There’s a lot to do on their wedding day: taking a shower, making another cup of coffee, eating some toast, baking a cake. At the same time, the TV is on and the hairdryer is running.
Suddenly all is quiet – there’s a power outage, system overload. Hair still wet, cake half baked, fridge begins to defrost.
Will Gundi and Gustel be able to solve the problem? Can the wedding go ahead?
Fun, educational and imaginative
The puppet and drama theatre was specially developed for 3malE and brought to the stage by Silke Greyer from Theater Wilde Hummel (in German) and Klaus Herman from HalloDu-Theater (in German). The play is suitable for children from the age of four upwards. The ideal group size is between 70 and 100 children.
One showing lasts 35 minutes. After the show, there is a 15-minute interactive session with the children, during which they talk about what they’ve learned from the play and how to use energy responsibly and economically.
