Responsibility powered by #PIONIERGEIST
innogy is reshaping the energy landscape. This is real pioneering work. Because: opening up new avenues requires a love of experiments and courage. But also self-confidence, expertise and an ability to act decisively. We are looking for people who share this attitude. Who are keen to break new ground in their careers. The normal path for graduates into innogy usually leads via one of our trainee programmes. But for innovative pioneers there is, of course, an alternative opportunity for starting a career with innogy: direct entry. A prerequisite is that you have already gained professional experience in a company while at university.
Via direct entry innogy will support and challenge you with innovative projects that will advance your career – be it through exclusive specialised knowledge or by giving you more personal responsibility. Work with us on the future of energy – permanently in one department, with a fixed employment contract, in your home country or abroad and always as part of a team. What is the best part of your job?
As the IT Product Manager in the Digital Lab, it is my job to design and develop innovative digital products and solutions together with the specialist departments of innogy using agile methods and the latest technology. In doing so, we create new business models and simplify, streamline and optimise processes.
Please can you give us more details? What is the quintessence for you?
Digital transformation has now reached every large company. With our technical possibilities as well as our methods and work practices that we have established in IT, we are the perfect partner for jointly addressing the challenges that a company like innogy has to face today. In my job I am the interface between the business with its wishes, goals and problems and IT with the skills to find solutions. The challenge here is to design a product quickly and creatively, yet also to ensure that it can be executed as quickly as possible and used profitably by innogy. This is exactly where the appeal of my job lies.
What advice would you give others who are interested in a job like yours?
Always be open to the ideas of others and to new ways of working.
