What we have achieved to date
Already, more than 200 refugees have taken their first steps into the German job market with us. A lot of them took part in our chance2start programme. Many have stayed. We are delighted about that.
Currently, 33 refugees are in apprenticeships at innogy. Many of them prepared for their formal training by taking part in our I can do it! Programme first. In total, more than 100 refugees have completed work experience in various divisions or work in course-related roles as working students at innogy.

chance2start – entry programme for refugees with an academic degree
Are you well-qualified, have a least B2-level German, hold an academic degree and have already gained some professional experience? Then our “chance2start” entry programme could be right for you.
It runs for 12 twelve months and as a participant you will have a 12-month temporary contract.
Through our support programme we provide a personal mentor and you will take part in a professional language course. Job coaching will help you integrate into the job market for the long term.
